We’re working in partnership with Aster to deliver community equipment services and minor adaptations to people in Somerset.
Following an approved assessment, a care professional will place an order for us to provide a range of equipment and services into the home. The mobile items are on loan for the period of your need.
When the equipment is no longer required, we will collect, clean and decontaminate, service, test and repair, then catalogue, barcode and store, ready to be reissued to the next home setting. Our service covers a wide range of products; for example, a simple bathing aid, such as a bath board, or a more complex battery operated bath lift to fit into your bath to help you in and out safely.
In addition, we cover complex specialist equipment for moving people such as hoists.
