As the UK’s largest wheelchair service provider, we currently help over 210,000 wheelchair users to live more independent lives.
96% of our customers rate our service as good/excellent, so you can be sure you are in safe hands.
Accessing our wheelchair services
Your GP, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or other Community Therapist will tell us you need a wheelchair using our simple, easy-to-use, online referral system.
If you are an existing wheelchair user, you can contact us directly using our service user portal.
Our own team of wheelchair therapists will promptly contact you to discuss how we can help and arrange an assessment if necessary.
Assessments take place in our wheelchair service centres. Our efficient process means you could take your wheelchair home with you on the same day of assessment.
We also offer NHS approved ‘Attend Anywhere’ video assessments, which you can access using a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. The equipment available to you will depend on criteria set by the NHS. You may be eligible for a Personal Wheelchair Budget to support you to access a wider choice of wheelchairs.
You will be shown how to safely use your wheelchair and will be given guidance on how to contact us if your needs change or you need a repair.
Support & Repair
Our mission is to ensure you have the right equipment to live an independent life and that's why our customer services team will conduct a follow-up call with you after handover to make sure you’re happy with your wheelchair.
If you’d like to speak to us face-to-face, you can drop into your local service centre. We recommend that you call us in advance to arrange your visit. All service centres comply with the government’s COVID-19 guidelines.
We provide a 24-hour, 365-day emergency repair service. A duty engineer will discuss the problem with you and arrange an urgent repair if necessary. Whats more, if we cant fix your wheelchair immediately, we'll make sure you have a temporary chair to use while we fix yours in our specialist workshops.
If you cannot reach our service centre, our team will visit you at home or in educational/work settings at a time convenient to you.
If our wheelchair services frequently asked questions do not answer your questions, please get in touch. We are always here to help and there are many ways you can contact us to provide us with your valued feedback or to ask any questions that you may have.
